Hemsby Pinup Contest This Weekend!

We really are green with envy at all the folk heading off to Hemsby Rock ‘n’ Roll Weekender this weekend!  If you’re going be sure to check out the Pinup Contest as our very own Little Gem is representing Miss Fortune in 2 bespoke, never before seen outfits!  We had a lot of fun working with Gem to come up with the outfits and can’t wait to have some photos to show you!

Fitting With Little Gem & Photo shoot With Miss Rain!

The bank holiday weekend saw me taking a little jaunt across to Nottingham to meet up with model, Little Gem, for a top secret fitting for her two outfits for the Hemsby Pinup Contest!   I would love to give you all a sneak preview of the ‘beachwear’ and ‘evening wear’ outfits I have been designing for her but you’ll just have to wait for pictures after the contest!  We also did a quick shoot with the outfit with Miss Rain Photography, can’t wait to show off the photos!

This Week At Miss Fortune: Collection at Americana Fashion Show Confirmed & Rise In Shipping Prices Next Week

This Week At Miss Fortune ….

Miss Fortune Collection in the Americana International Fashion Show

We are excited to confirm our appearance in a third catwalk show this summer!

For the past two years we have run the fashion show at the Americana International festival but this year we have passed the baton on to Nottingham based BooBoo Kitty Couture who will be taking the show from strength to strength, no doubt!

Americana is a great mix of rock ‘n’ roll and country music teamed with a vintage American vehicle show located at Newark-On-Trent Country Showground in Nottinghamshire.  There are several fields of vehicles, 2 large outside stages and several inside stages along with other attractions like stalls, small fun fair and of course a fashion show!

The show is on 11th – 14th July with the fashion show taking place on both the Saturday and Sunday of the show!

Royal Mail Price Rise From April

It’s nearly that time of year again! The new tax year brings the predictable rise in prices from Royal Mail!  Gotta love Royal Mail, haven’t you?! No, you say?!

As there’s not much we can do about it we will be updating our shipping prices in line with the new Royal Mail price as of next Friday, 29th April.  If were planning an order and want to save yourself a few pennies on shipping get your order in by midday Thursday 28th April!
